Fractal images can be considered as mathematical art.
They are artistic representations of complex mathematical formulae which exhibit certain characteristics.
A program is used to find the answer to a specific chosen equation and colours can be assigned to the resulting answers.
Areas of the fractal that appear to contain interesting details can be magnified
with more and more detail being revealed.
Some areas are symmetrical, and others are more random in appearance.
Finally, the image can be modified with additional processing, layering and masking techniques to provide a unique design.
They provide another world for the artist.
